Sunday February 20, 2005Got as far as I could this weekend. Installed all the hoses and antifreeze, installed the oil pan and oil, hooked up the exhaust and muffler, and then tried starting the motor with the aid of a can of quick start. Needless to say she didn’t run. Two minor problems, distributor timing (180 degrees out) and a fuel pump which will not pump up any gasoline. One good thing to report, I cranked her with the spark plugs out and was able to pump up 20 psi of oil pressure. I will have to order a fuel pump tomorrow and maybe next weekend I can get this motor running. |
