Sunday June 5, 2005Saturday, I reinstalled the transmission. New Clutch, Pressure Plate, Throw-out Bearing, and Pilot Bushing. Flywheel was turned true by Napa. Fired the motor up and ran it through the gears.., its working just great & no leaks. I made a new gasket using the old one as a template. Sunday, I scraped, cleaned, wire brushed, and washed with solvent the under carriage back to the rear axel well. I painted it with Rust-Oleum primer. I also worked on the brake lines. If you haven’t replaced yours yet.., I highly recommend it. It’s easy and the materials cost me less then $25.00. |
