I was able to make additional progress on the interior. All the floor panels are in place and the interior is completely stripped except for the two rear door panels. I still need to fabricate a patch in the spare tire compartment and fix some bad spots in the trunk rim, which holds the weather stripping. After that the next step is to clean and remove any remaining rust then spray the interior with rust inhibiting primmer and finish coat. I think I have another 24 to 32 man-hours to invest in this portion of the project. I also found a paint shop I can work with. They specialize in custom & classic cars and are just down the road a piece. Basically I talked with 3 other body shops that didn't want to have anything to do with my car. They said that mainly they just did insurance work, it was quick and easy and they didn't want to get involved in this type of restoration work or prep work necessary for an old car redo...
