Title: Gas Gage Flange question
Post by: 29UJohn on March 12, 2016, 09:13:18 PM
This is a picture of the gas gage flange on the gas tank of my 29 Plymouth when I bought it in 1973.  Since then I had to replace the tank and it has the gas gage flange that is wide and sits close to the tank.

Has anyone else ever seen a gas gage flange like the one shown?

John,

Here is a picture of the gas tank from my 29.  My assumption is that it is original but who knows for sure.  Yes the gas gauge flange is wider and lower to the tank.
