I guess we are experiencing good weather all over and you guys are out driving your cars.  The temperature here in Virginia is just great for driving. 79-80 degrees Fahrenheit and sunny.  Of course I have vacation next week and it will probably rain all 7 days.

Chet,

I sincerely hope it doesn't rain on your parade next week.  If it does, keep an eye on the wiper blade.  Mine flew off once, put it back for the rest of the trip, but don't know if ever identified root cause.  Need a new one though.

May you have fair weather to enjoy.

Thanks Frank,

I hope to put the finishing touches on this 48 P15 Special Deluxe.  I have been working on it since 2004.
Once complete I can start some needed restoration work to my 29U.

Looking better then it did in September 26, 2004 when it followed me home.

Nice car u have there. you have done a brilliant job.

For me, the weather has stopped most work or even drives. every day have been cold and rain.
Also i was on holiday for a week in Queensland enjoying the hot summer like days and also relaxing.
The ply has been disabled in the shed, until the new mount arrives. But in between the weather spells i have been playing with the roof folding mechanism and fitting a new starter button.

Glenn,

I find it had to believe also.  I found the car at a yard sale that my wife and daughter brought me to.  It was a 1948 car, I was born in 1948 and it seemed like a shame to allow it to continue to rot on the driveway.  So 3 hours latter it was sitting in my backyard.  The picture below is what it looked like after it rolled off the U-Haul trailer in 2004.  Well today the car looks like a teenager but I am 8 years older.      Oh well,

Ian,

I guess you guys down under are heading into summer while we are on our way to winter.  To me spring and fall are the best driving seasons.  Nice weather and cool on the passengers as well as the engine.  I think out of the two I like fall the best.  For me in Virginia the weather can be nice all the way through December.  As long as there is no snow the car can go.  Once it snows I like to wait until there is a good rain to wash the salt off the roads.  I am not sure if they still use salt but around here they spray some chemical to deice the main roads.

Cheers,  Chet...

 Dear All,

Thanks for the At-a-Boys..,  It has been an 8 year odyssey and still not perfect but what is.  I have some issues with the paint and will need to wet sand and repaint the front clip and roof.  Other than that things are great.
