Does anyone know if anybody reproduces this Tag ?

If not I will try to have one reproduced.  Also anyone know what the top line reads above PLYMOUTH MOTOR CORP.?

Might be able to clean it up better if I can remove the extra paint without further damage.

Chet,
I had some reproduced a few years ago. My intent was to make them available at cost to members. When the manufacturer ( a local trophy shop) got the design right, I asked them to make a batch, but they told me they lost the digital file.  Anyway I have a few of them. You can have one if you want, but you have to drill the two holes yourself. The prototypes were approved by the Club as correct.

I was told it meant Marca de Fabrica Meccanica Industria Registrada , or the manufacture's trade mark is registered.  It seems to make sense.

Eric, you are right on.  I googled it and it translates exactly to what you posted.  Interesting that it is Spanish I thought maybe Latin or maybe they are synonymous but definitely a legal term.

Very interesting, Thanks...

John I'll take one too, if you have an extra. I went to look at mine and there wasn't one....

I'll check and see how many good ones I have. Some were prototypes that may not be good enough.

John,

I'm going to try and remove the paint off of my original tag and if it comes out OK I will probably use it.  Its nice to keep some patina.  Since Dave doesn't have a Tag keep him in mind as a first priority.

I purchased this one for my 1930 30U from ebay --dataplates4u was the seller
It looks great to me.  I was listed as 1938 to 1950 dataplate.
The attachment shows my original and the new one.

That plate looks very good.  I was able to clean mine up but might also see if these are still for sale.

Good to know.
