Chet, I have to believe you had it.  What kept your hood in place at the cowl when you opened it?

Russ, the 30U handles are not made of pot metal.  They have the same pattern and a little smaller in dimension.  Correct escutcheons for a 30U will not fit 28/29 handles.  The opening is too small.  This picture not the best, but it does show the size difference of the rear window crank of sedan.  The broken one was in my car.

Chet, I apologize for butting in your thread.  frank

Until someone posts a picture, here's a sketchy description.  This part mirrors the one on the radiator shell.  There is also a part that is under the cowl for support.  A two person job to install.  It is painted.  You probably have it in a box or bag, assembled with the screws and nuts.  frank

I say yes.  Great looking accelerator pump!  As everyone knows, that pot metal can be fragile.   frank

These are from my 29.  Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of the hand throttle connection by the CLUM switch.

My sedan is finicky and sometimes needs a brief full choke if it hasn't run in a while.  Just not excessive.  Seems to be ambient temperature dependent too, adding another variable.

Yes, the original looks like rubber to me.  If you had a rectangle rubber in larger than dimensions, it could be sectioned vertically and/or horizontally to fit and secured with rubber cement?

Tom, not much help here.  Only thing I've done with carbs is disassemble what I could and use cleaner and air to blow through orifices.

Russ T, I'm sure you did an excellent job.

Tom, when I decide to let these go, you'll be first in line.   frank

1929, Chet, according to FEDCO number. Has the same tin nailed to wooden frame as yours, not like the metal 1930U.

Here is the original side trim piece.  I didn't remember the steel tab section sandwiched in the original trim.  Sorry these are so late in coming.  Also found the Instructions.

I don't have a source for those washers.  The rubberized disks were used on several makes; don't know which though, so they should be a round.  I never found any when I looked, but that was a search by mail.  As long as the holes are 60 degrees apart, you should be in good shape.

I am still using the original gasket.  There is an inside metal trim piece.  A little difficult to see, but best I have.
