Title: Parts from a 28 Plymouth sedan
Post by: corndog on April 12, 2016, 09:14:51 PM
Two weeks ago I went to a local estate auction that had a 1928 Plymouth sedan that was entirely disassembled. Body off the frame, engine out of the chassis, doors off the body, etc etc. I need very little for my 28 Plymouth but went to the auction just in case the car went real cheap. Surprisingly a young guy bought it for $1700...real high in my opinion. Well yesterday I see an ad on Craigs List for 28 Plymouth parts. I figure it is the same guy so I drive to the address and it is the same guy and the same car. Turns out all he wanted was just the body, the doors, and the grill shell to make a "rat rod". Everything else is for sale. I dont have a phone number  because the guy is working at a recently purchased building that has no phone yet. But if you are reading this and need something, I would be glad to take your request to the guy for you. I looked at "parts wanted" on this forum but most of the ads were so old I figured the guys wanting the parts had found them by now. You can email me at niftynos@aol.com

Hi corndog,

That is kind of you to offer.  I'm sure there will be several folks who will be dusting their want list.  I'm going to look for mine since many 28 & 29 parts are the same.
