Title: 1929 Plymouth just back from the paint & body shop
Post by: 29UJohn on May 26, 2016, 10:47:46 PM
Today I picked up my 1929 Plymouth 4 door sedan from the paint and body shop.  After 43 years I finally got it repainted!  Next I have to put the rest of it back together and get the Pin stripping done.

Regarding the color, I did find a very small patch of original color when I removed the bracket from the back of the dash, but I was not able to computer match it because it was too uneven in color.  The color I chose does look similar to that patch though.  I also looked at a lot of other blue 29 Plymouths, it seemed the right color.

It is Dupont Nason CAS536 1F with a clear coat.
