When I look at the wheels I have in the garage, I notice that one wheel (rear) is different from the other and only 10 spokes...
Does anyone know what car it can belongs too? Is it possible to buy a original wooden wheel somewhere?

frankp

My 29U, 19" wheel has 12 spokes.  What car are they going on?

jjohn

1929 sedan 19" 12 spokes

frankp

John, you might try asking on HAMB.   frank

Sorry but what is HAMB?

frankp

H.A.M.B. is the Hokey Ass Message Board for hot rodders, etc.  They usually get rid of most drive train parts.  I'm guessing you've tried most Plymouth sources.

Frank, your '29 U has 19" wheels?  Mine are 20"

jjohn

I think that 1928 Q has 20" and 1929 U 19"

Articifer Tom

Yeah ,the Desoto's are 19 on one side and 18.5 on other , strange rim . Also 2 .5 wide . Sorry .

frankp

Ted and jjohn,

I understand the 20" carried over to the 29U for a period of time and changed to 19".  My sedan was assembled in mid-August 1929, later in model year.  Dave has 20".
