Are the base of the outer door handles curved?  Mine are not orginial and have a flat mounting surface.  They do not fit on the door flat.  There is raised "belt" body line that is curved and it would seem that the mounting surface is curved to match.  Am I right or not?

Rusty they are curved.  I am having American Arrow make some right now but they are not cheap.  Good luck and there are some on e-bay but by the time I would chrome them they would be very exspensive and would still be pot metal.  Good luck Craig

Who is American Arrow?  Are they being casted or machined?  Were they chrome or nickle plated? rusty

Rusty, Are we talking about the handles for the 28-30 that have (what I will call a floral design) over the shaft end of the handle. If that is what you what another contact would be verdones@evenlink.com. I contacted them and they reproduce the door handles and window cranks in stainless. They are about $85.00 each.

Who is American Arrow and how do we contact them? Did they give you a price?

This is one of the last original items I need for my car.

American Arrow is a company that cast and make antique car parts.  the handle they are making are solid stanless cast of theoriganol handle. Will be locking and non-locking.  If authintisty does not matter I would go with the cheap ones because the are about 200.00 each but will ast for ever. Don Sommer is the owner.  Ok just trying to help Craig
