Title: 30-U shock absorbers
Post by: Russ T. Fender on March 13, 2018, 02:05:52 PM
Could someone post a picture of how the front and rear shocks are mounted on a 30-U.  I recently acquired a set and am unsure how they are installed. Also, I am still looking for a source of rod bolts for my car as mine are severely stretched.  Thanks.

Here's passenger rear.  Photo is lousy, but after I took this one, my batteries died.  Hopefully give you enough info with the arm orientation and mounting bolts able to be seen.

Those pictures are just what I needed.  I tried Egge for the rod bolts but they do not have them, just the pistons, rings and wrist pins.  Thanks all for the help.
