Hello all . Got some remnants of running board trim that where broke and missing parts ,to put back on my '31 . I've repaired the splits an added pieces on edges of the aluminum rb trim . Had to totally make new short ends and 6" of back angle . Used round wood form to reshape front trim . I noticed pieces of webbing riveted to end pieces .  What should be between end and back to steel ? Was it web even to top or a beaded trim ?

Just doing that got it starting and running . Did not road test was Winter , at time .  Disassembled again since repaired exhaust and manifold leaks. Want to check out specs of orifices in replaced standpipe and cone . From some holes in top of pipe missing and parts near bottom not reinstalled . Are ther not need now ??? Attached is pic of pieces and spring with questions I have . Any help would be appreciated .
I think Frank29u did some work on his years ago , any input please .

Any of you been following the AACA thread on Mopar 20's and 30's fan developing cracks because of lap design and age w/  flexing ?
Some have exploded taking out radiators and punching through the hood doors . Many are replacing with modern six blade racing fans trimmed and balanced .
