Thanks Dave your car appears to be my standard. I have seen many photos of cars with that item painted body color. Personally I like it black it finishes off the front roof. All the fenders and misc pieces in the paint shop. I still haven't picked a body color. Will have to decide by next week.
Guessing you are going to pick your favorite stock color option?
I don't have paint codes. I already have a Blue Ply and I like Ted's color, very classic. Don't know, probably look at paint chips and let the wife decide. I just want to move on.., whatever I pick I hope it looks good on the car ? I have been thinking about this since day one and can't seem to make a decision. Need to decide by early next week. I'm good at fixing stuff.., but not good with esthetics.

Sure they are but the painter needs a Modern paint code to mix the paint. The names are meaningless. Who knows what they mean they are 90 years old and long since obsolete. Also there were variations within the paints themselves. I guess I have these choices for body color ?

Green
Blue
Desert Sand probably light brown ?
I'll have to spend time with paint chips and the wife because all the shades look the same to me.
My 4dr sedan was blue, probably Marquette Blue - Whatever that is - it should be on the darker side of the different shades of blues ??
Chet - I sent you an email regarding the color of my car and where it came from...a note to my Dad from Earl Buton. Seems like it was a Ford matched color, Balsam green. I believe the Ardsley green was a roadster color, but I've never seen what it looks like.
