http://www.allpar.com/racing/nhra/four-cylinder.html Found this story about record setting 4 cylinder Plymouth. They are 32s PB. that's the serial on my 30. you can see the block off plate for the fuel pump. My block is smooth like a 30. Like to have that in my car.

General Discussion / Turn signals
March 02, 2015, 07:39:06 PM
I have been collecting the things I needed for installing my turn signals for a while. Received my flasher today. Didn't drill any extra holes. It all can be taken back out and never know it was there. I will feel safer when making a turn. I would like to have an older styl switch but I have had this one laying around for a long time.

General Discussion / Cruzin
August 09, 2014, 10:45:06 AM
My wife and I drove the 30U to a local cruzin last night, Suppose the be featuring A models. One was there, the rest were Mustangs Impalas and such. Left, went by Sonic, placed our order, Young girl came with our food, She was quite surprised and said she didn't see many cars like this. WE just laughed and told here I was going to trade up in a few years. You can open the doors and use the running boards to sit your drinks on.

General Discussion / Hand crank
November 07, 2013, 09:26:50 AM
I hand cranked my 30U this morning. I made the crank handle from looking at pictures of others. It took four cranks for it to start and this was a cold start. Retard the timing, no choke, set the idle. Didn't really hear it crank. The handle pushed out and I was making sure I didn't drop it and the engine was running.

General Discussion / Engin #
August 10, 2007, 10:31:17 PM
AllPar says my engin # should start with a U, Mine starts with PB, I had to put a Cam gear in it shortly after I got it, I got the gear from EGGEs, They didn't ask for any #s. It's cools by thermo and it has the vacum fuel pump. The gentelman I got it from had put an electric pump on it but I found a vacum pump, I like it better. Still curius about these engin#s
