I purchased running board matting from Restoration Supply Company.  Jeff Buton told me this was correct for the 29 Plymouth.  The part number is RUB020.  Order a 4 feet piece.  This comes in 48 inch width, so a 4 foot piece will actually be enough to make two full sets.  It also is sold in 36 inch widths.

See attached pages from catalogs.  That is Jeff's handwriting in the RSC page.

It is also sold by Restoration Specialties and Supply Co.  Their part number is MAT018.

PS - does the Corrugated Mat - Vinyl look correct for the floor mats?

Thanks John, I may need to upgrade.

John,

Thanks for the info, Do you know for sure what rubber matting would be used for the front seat area of the 29 4 door.
I believe rubber was in the front and carpet in the rear.

That has been a mystery to me.  All I know is the vague picture in the instruction handbook.

Check,  I believe that is the 1/8" ribbed rubber matting.  Widely sold in many places.  Used this for the trunk liner on my 48 Ply.

This is just one of many links to floor mat companies.  Just need to decide on the pattern.

Going back to this thread and going to do my floor mat...I have the sample John sent and have seen the pics.  I saw this on Amazon for less than half the price.  Looks very close...4'x3' about $35 shipped free.

Don't have the original...I think a Model A pattern, but not sure.  It's rubber though.  I do have the correct rubber parts that go around the brake/clutch pedals and the gear shift/parking brake.  I've seen the mats that John and Frank have that look similar to this one.  Those would cost about $60 vs. $35.
