Since I know for sure my interior was redone awhile back and the other work that was done to the car was less than accurate I have a few questions about the interior of a 4 dr. sedan.
- How were the rear wheel wells handled.
- Were there arm rests to off set the wheel wells.
- Was there any wind lace surrounding the door openings.
- I know the front passenger door had a map pouch.
- I know the front floor was rubber mat and the rear floor was carpet.
- I have the rear foot rest.
- What details am I missing ?
Any info would be appreciated, Chet...
There is a pocket on the drivers' side rear door. This is how my rear seat area was finished. You'll want a curtain for the rear window. Believe the arm rests were on the DeLuxe.
I believe you're correct. There was a pocket on the front passenger side and a pocket on the rear driver's side door. My car had one on both sides of the front doors. So I know that the interior has been redone at least one other time.
Thanks Chet...
This interior is from a 1933 book. It is the clearest one I have seen. I like the mat detail.
Looks like the picture in the Instruction Book for the '29U.
Thanks for the input. I was going to leave off the pockets but the wife is working on a proof of concept. This is very tedious work but moving along. Learning and refining the process on the fly. Hopefully for the last time on this car anyway.
