Title: '29 Plymouth Rear Wheel Puller Question
Post by: racertb on November 03, 2011, 02:24:50 PM
All:

I ordered  my Model TT wheel puller from Snyder's and it fits perfectly on the threads so I can get off the rear wheels...the probelm is, the bolt that is to be tightened against the axle is too short!  Has anyone else had this issue?

I assume I'll have to make a trip to Home Depot to get a longer bolt to make this work...

Try see if you can fit a spacer between end of bolt and axle ! Just needs to move less than half a mm and wheel will come off!
It is important to have puller screwed all the way in !!
Cheers Tony.

Thanks Tony, I'll try that.  The bolt is all the way in at the moment, but I'll see if I can make something work.

Yes, the bolt that comes with the TT puller was to short to work on my Plymouth. I just replaced it with one that i had in my parts stuff. You can go to the hardware store and get a replacement whatever length you want.
