Anyone on this forum installed a roof on a 29 sedan or model A Ford.  looking for some advice?

I am looking at two roof coverings.

Long Grain roof material:  Ford Model A closed car



OR Colonial:



Please comment.  Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure if correct or not, but if I had to pick one, it would be the top pic...Model A style.

Thanks Ted,  I don't have a clue. These were the only two I could find that were wide enough for my roof.

FYI... I was told by Jeff Buton (POC Tech Advisor for 29U) that the Long Grain material used for the Ford Model A was perfect for the 29U.

Also the Hidem Welt was fine for the trim.

Will order material Monday including the closed cell roof pad.  This now makes this job easy so I will do it myself.

Hi Ted,

It may be awhile.  I am getting samples first.  Once they cut this stuff I can't return it.  :)

The good news is that this roof project will close the restoration odyssey.  Then state inspection and on the road again.
