Title: Thanksgiving Show in Ormond Beach, FL
Post by: racertb on December 03, 2019, 11:31:16 AM
All:

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.  In keeping the family tradition alive (over 40 years), I attended the 62nd Annual Volusia Region AACA show in Ormond Beach, FL this past weekend.  It was a 200+ mile round trip in the old gal; drove down Friday afternoon so I could be in the gaslight parade that night (113 cars total) and was at the show on Saturday before heading back.

Coincidentally, this is the same weekend every year for the Turkey Rod Run in Daytona Beach right down the road where there are typically 5-6,000 cars in town for that show.  Both are great events if you've never been and the weather is usually perfect.

Ted

Wow Ted Great Pictures!!!  I'm very jealous.

You Florida/California guys have it made, that is except for the hurricanes and fires respectively.    You can't beat that Florida weather.  Currently I am trying to heat the garage up warm enough to do some work.  LOL

Great job.., a lot of guys would trailer.  You have both a beautiful show car and excellent reliable driver.

Congratulations on the drive/show,  Chet...
