Title: 29 wheel puller
Post by: George29 on August 21, 2007, 07:57:55 PM
Well I made it back from vacation and had a lot of fun at Reno Hot August Nights. Saw many classic cars including a 1930 Plymouth coupe, it looked good. I went to the swap meet to see if I could find anything for my Plymouth and all I found were some pretty ruff hub caps so didn't get anything.
I am still looking for a wheel puller for my 1929 Plymouth. I found one for a Ford Model T that looks like it may work. Does anyone know if it will fit my Plymouth.

George,

If you go to the link below, this was a post I started on the POC Forum.  It has a lot of info on the subject.

If I can't find one at Hershey this year I am going to have a friend make one for me.  He is a machinist by hobby and a mechanical engineer by profession.  I am pretty sure I will find one at Hershey.  I am told that the Ford modal A used the same threads on their axel but I don't know for sure or if the Model T will work as a substitute.

Good Luck,

Chet...
