Yes there is. Coker Tire sells them. If you have 20" wheels I maybe able to dig one up for you . If used in descent shape is ok. See pictures below.

Horn looks like a correct Klaxon 12C to me.

That one is an 8C, buy off of some random guy at a tractor show. It serves the purpose for now...

Have been short on time this week, if you need any details let me know. The white wire with the speedo cable was (is) my temporary fuel pump power. Ignore. Followed YNZ's setup for the most part. They have power for the clum fed from the horn, that is why there are 2 green wires. (I know its the wrong horn) If anyone has an extra right one they want to part with let me know.

Well New Year / Change of Plan

Need Guidance:

  • Firewall painted same as body
No. Black. I have spots I can see the primer under it, positive it was never the body color.
  • In a two tone car lets say Blue Body with Black trim & Black fenders
Yep
  • Dashboard Question ?  What color
Black
  • Window Trim Metal ?  What color
Black
  • Holding down costs / paint myself / find a cost affective solution
No input from me
[/list] Any words of wisdom ??  The old paint on the 29 is very stable.  The red paint that has been on the car for over 10 years and is in perfect shape.  Maybe an easy repaint.  ?  Maybe Maaco ?

Any comments ?   Chet...

You know your skill set best, seem pretty talented at what ever you take on.

Chet,
I had some reproduced a few years ago. My intent was to make them available at cost to members. When the manufacturer ( a local trophy shop) got the design right, I asked them to make a batch, but they told me they lost the digital file.  Anyway I have a few of them. You can have one if you want, but you have to drill the two holes yourself. The prototypes were approved by the Club as correct.
John

John I'll take one too, if you have an extra. I went to look at mine and there wasn't one....

Test thread for cool pictures. Here is my first crack at using Chet's new picture host. - On edit, (again) found the public share setting. Can you guys see the pictures? Size OK?
Wish I had these collectibles at my garage. Snapped with my I phone in the evening hours of the Nowthen Threshing show.

Figured I would test the picture host again. I added new unconverted images.
Visited the John Deere manufacturing plant in Waterloo Iowa Friday, 15 acre plant. Quite an operation. No cameras allowed. I''l post a few from the museum. Check out the size of this piston.

Original Spoker D First models produced under the John Deere name after it bought Waterloo boy. A high end restoration of a similar tractor, the 250th one made, brought $210,000 at an auction a few years back.

Having some strange results. Pictures show on certain browsers but not others.

I just re linked them in this thread.

Should be 2 in the first post and 4 in the 2nd.

Curious as to which ones you see and what browsers you are using.  I tested it in Chrome, Edge and Firefox. As of now 6:40 they appear on all 3.

I'm struggling with the new picture host solution. Its strange, when I post with chrome (logged into) it shows the pictures embedded, but they weren't showing up for others. Figured out it was a sharing setting. Thought I fixed them all, but now they are showing up larger in size on the forum. Even when I re-link one that is showing up. Fixed to on this thread.

Sorry Dave no pictures came visible.

How many pictures do you keep on the web.  meg-a-bites, gig-a-bites, or tera-bites?

The only pictures I keep on the web are for reasons like this. Sharing on forums. No social media for me. I upload the ones I post. Would guess high megs maybe a few gigs. Tough to keep score the images get larger in size and quality.
