Wayne, They look pretty good. Be sure to ask any questions before you buy.

I'm a long way from Ohio, but if you want to have them sent to me here in Oregon I'll hold them for you.

I just tore my spare wheels apart to have them respoked before I put them on my car. Sold my spare chassis so have to get them done so I can put my old ones on the spare chassis. Cost here is $240.00 per wheel to have new spokes.

Tony,
Apparently the file was to large with two pictures. Here is the second

Tony, here are the pictures of the two heater hose attachments I mentioned in my previous post.

The one is a hose bib that was drilled into the hot water outlet in the head of a 30 or 31.

The other is a hose bib attahment that can be put into either the upper or lower radiator hose of any car.

I know there is very little clearance between the front of the yoke and the back of the transmission. I had trouble there when I did my car.  If I remember you have to have the bolts with the heads toward the rear, becuase if you tighten to much the bolts will pull through enough to hit the back of transmission case.

Just something to look at.

Tony, I have seen pipe attachments added into the upper and lower raditor hoses, and I have a head that has a heater hose attachment that comes out just behind the upper radiator hose mount.

I will try to get pics of these up in the next few days.

I just heard of a fellow Mick Geddes from NSW that has a 30U roadster that he wants to restore. You might contact him at

Hey, there are car guys out there.

Glenn, the Cupolo looks great. I remember seeing lots of them in Montana when I worked on my uncles wheat ranch. But I guess that was more than a couple years ago. A great project.

My winter project is replacing the head on my 30. There is a hairline crack in the side of the water passage between the water outlet and the number 1 spark plug. No problems when it is running, as the heat seems to close up the crack. After I get back home and it is garaged for a couple days I go out and find the indent for the plg full of pretty green water. Always something.

Hope everyone had the Happy Thanksgiving and I'm wishing you a Very Merry Christmas.

Chet, You said it "OH" so well. If only all old car guys had that same attitude of helping the other without the $ sign so prominent.

I know that things are getting cold, and most all our cars are stored away for the winter, but did everyone hibernat like a bear?

Seems like the two primary Plymouth sites are just plain dead at this time.

Chet, I don't know how you found this site, but what a find. All kinds of great information.

Maybe we (all of us) can help him in his efforts.

Thanks for sharing.

Tony, how did things work out after some use?

Your doing such a fine job on this car I was just hoping it went well.

Yes, the bolt that comes with the TT puller was to short to work on my Plymouth. I just replaced it with one that i had in my parts stuff. You can go to the hardware store and get a replacement whatever length you want.

Tony, I think the original was 1 1/4" but not available here so most do 1 1/2".

Hi Guys, Yes I got mine done. But it was not an esay task. I wanted it done ASAP as I had a tour that week end. Overnighted a kit in and took it to Philbin in Portland to get done. Well they didn't get it right and ended up breaking the housing. Got a later model pump from a local guy and replaced the dome and bowl myself to get it on the road. BUT, it works just fine.

I found that I have a local fellow (Portland, OR), Doug Crawford who has Elderly Auto, that has a lot of old Mopar parts, and more reference materials than I could even image. If you need something give him a call at 503-913-5093.

Thanks for everyones thoughts and prayers.

Sorry Rich. I have several different parts books, but nothing close as a raditor for that number.
