Very old ugly running boards parts
« on: September 04, 2016, 02:31:03 AM »
Yes ,Looking for some old worn out original running board covers and trim to go on my '31 Dodge truck . it was built on Plymouth chassis and boards are like and same size as Desoto ,43" I think . But I only need partials . I am putting truck back to survivors type condition . Trying to undo some of the 1990's restoration  faus-pas done to it .

Hi Tom,

I have been looking for original running boards for my 29 4dr Plymouth Sedan for years so if you run across a horde let me know.  As far as trim is concerned a POC member Bob Romano in New Jersey has repro trim parts in aluminum for the 28 to 32 PA.  I don't know if this is helpful to you but his contact info is bobnroman@Yahoo.com or call (856) 858-4691.  I don't know this guy.., I have just seen his ads in the back of the POC Bulletin.

Good Luck,  Chet...
