Dash Light Switch Question

All,
I have a 1930 30U Sport Roadster.  When I bought the car 3 years ago, it had one larger hole and two smaller holes on the bottom lower left underneath of the dash board.  I finally found out that these holes were for the dash board light swtich from a gentleman at Hershey, as I had previously thought they were for the wiper switch.  Anyway, I wanted to ask, did all 1930  30U's have this switch, or only late model year cars?  I looked at the wiring diagram in the First Edition Onwer's Manual and it did not show this switch at all.  My car was built in April, 1931, one of the later ones.

Can anyone confirm/deny if my car would have had this switch?  Does anyone have a later version of the 30U wiring diagram to show how it was wired and the color of the wires?  My car is currently wired with dash lights via the headlight switch.  Thanks for any insight.
