How did you deal with the Babbitt bearings.  Did you send them out.

Some more picture from the assembly of gearbox
@chet, the Babbitt bearings was inspected and checked they were at very good condition.
So we desided not to changed them. We think they maybe has changed this bearings before.
The car has not been used for very long time we we got it.

The project you are undertaking is very significant.  Please continue to post updates.  I am sure there are many here that would be very interested and also many that can provide assistance and advice.  Your posts and experiences can help others thinking of doing a similar project.

In an effort to follow along and review past actions I would ask you to create a project post and continue to add updates to this thread.   If someone wants to look back at something you posted all they would have to do is search your project post for the event or for the information.  Also feel free to create other topic related discussions that are an aside to your project updates.  For example: Where to find parts, how is something repaired, any other type of question or observation.  Anyway.., good luck with your significant project.
