Has anyone installed a 1931 Plymouth clutch on a 1929 Plymouth?  It looks like it will fit, but there are some part number differences in the fork and bell housing, so I wonder....

Trying to assemble a working clutch for my 29 Plymouth.  I have parts of three different style clutches, none complete.  Looking for either: (1) throw out bearing for 1930-31 clutch, (2) pressure plate for a 1929-30 clutch, or (3) a release finger for a 1928-29 clutch.

Thanks for the advice.  I have ordered a 1930U owners manual and hope it will have specific instructions on adjusting the clutch.

I need information on how to adjust the clutch on a 1930 U Plymouth.  I am installing a 1930U clutch on my 1929U Plymouth.  A release lever broke on the original clutch on my 1929U. I have located a 1930U clutch pressure plate assy. I installed it in the car and it appears to fit, but I need to know how to adjust it.

I have four seals left. These are made by Harwal and are nitrile and Steel, with a spring in them.  I sleeved my axel shaft first, since it was a bit worn.  The Harwal part numbers consist of the size and style. These are 1.375 x 2.363 x 0.438 ADL NBR . (ID x OD x depth, ADL is double lip, NBR is nitrile butyl rubber.

See www.harwal.com.   They are still listed on their web page.  You may have to buy more than two though.  If you want two from me, send me an email.

About 15 years ago I found some new replacement inner seals. I will look and see if I have any left. I do not remember where I found them. I basically found some that were the same dimensions.

The color looks great!
Hood latches are hard to find. I do not know of anyone who remakes them.
I do not think the taillights had rubbers.  I cut gaskets for mine.
