Hi evereyone, My name's ski and I'm in San Diego, CA.  I've been a MOPAR guy for years but all of my cars & trucks have been from 1956 -1970.  That was until yesterday when a 1929 Plymouth business coupe which I think is called a 1929 U followed me home and is now sitting in my driveway.  I didn't need another project but something told me to get this car.  I plan on getting it into the garage next week.  It needs a lot of work but I'm pretty sure I can get it in running shape fairly quick.  I'll be checking out all the prior posts and asking questions since I'm new to this era car.  First thing I'm going to do is get the brakes working.  Prior owner said they had recently been done but when I saw the empty brake reservoir I knew they would have to be gone through.  I soldered the pin hole in the bottom of the reservoir (more like a brake fluid can with a fitting on the bottom) today and will put it back on and fill it up tomorrow.  Someone told me about getting owner's manuals from a place called the "Free Philadelphia Library".  Anyone heard of this?  Anyway I'll post some better pictures of it tomorrow and will be asking annoying questions for a while until I sort the car out.

Chet, Thanks for the welcome and the links.  Didn't get too much going on the car today since I had to move some engines out of the garage and into the yard to make room for the 29.  I also had to take care of some small projects on a Fairmont speeder that belongs to a rail club I'm a member of before I take off on a west coast road trip up to Seattle and back.  I just want to get the Plymouth in the garage before I leave.  The top is open to the weather.
