need help with brake shoes i had them all rebonded and there are two different sizes 4 with the brake pad the full length and four where the brake pad on one end is a couple of inches short. Does one of each go on each wheel or ???????
Any info would be great.   Should have taken a photo  Thanks Glenn

Realy good news tony are you going for full rego or club restricted? When your finished come for a run over to Perth and give me a hand

Went to a vintage car show on the weekend and there was a realy nice 1930 Chrysler it had hubcaps the same as yours. I would drop a pic in but i can't remember how to, when i work it out i will post one?

There is a couple on E bay and one of them was cast in Australia????? I did contact the seller to find out where but still waiting on a reply

Yep i have 6mm flat bar shackles and i have put brass bushes in the rear on the chassi as it had been slugged out by the origonal pins.
I'm in the middle of machining up new pins and bushes will post a pic when i'm finished.
Heading over to SA to pick up a 29 u it still has original suspension will post a pic of that as well.

Hi all
has anyone rebuilt a lever arm shock absorber? Is there a seal kit for the innner piston and what grade oil is used in them and how much oil do you put in them?  the webbing from the lever arm who makes it or where can you get it. Any info would be good

Thanks for the info, that link is full of good info, The serial number i dont have one on the dash is there a way of working out what it might be from the engine number and maybe a chassis number?? because i would like to get one also might need it for the licence on the car.  Glenn

Hi all
I have a 29 Roadster and ready to start a engine rebuild, Engine No.  U 64257^^C  the ^^ are arrows  Silver Dome on the head.
Is there a way to tell if this is the original motor for the car or year of make? Any info on the motor or thing to watch out for would be a real help, never rebuilt a flat head before.
