Can someone post a picture of the correct positioning of the stock rearview mirror assembly.

Thanks,  Chet...

Hi Chet, If a 29 coupe is the same I could take a picture.

Thanks I think I'm pretty sure how it mounts just checking because I couldn't find a picture but I did find a picture of the riser assembly and can make out the screw holes.

A quick question; does your assembly cover the center screw for the riser assembly.  In the picture I found it seem to be slightly off center toward the drivers side.

Yes Chet, its off to the left of center.  It's 18 1/4 from the center of the two riser screws to the edge of the mirror base on the drivers side and 18 3/4 between the same points on the other side.

That's exactly where I thought it mounted except I thought it faced up rather than down.  Very interesting.  I would think yours is correct hopefully we may get a second opinion.   The devil is in the details...  Many Tks Chet...

Hi ski,

I found a good rendering of the 29 front area from a 1929 original Salesmen's Data Reference book.  Your dimensions and position seems right on.

Thanks,  Chet...
