Sounds like you had a very good day. I wanted to take my 29 U out but have not finished the brakes. Your car looks great.

I got the front brakes off just fine and found out the wheel cyl. is also bad. I'll replace it all. Still have not got the rear wheels off but I'll come up with something. Thanks for the info on the parts I'll try him.

Fixed the headlight, it was a bare wire shorting inside the light assy.

Know if I can just get those rear wheels off.

Thanks for the info. It looks like my main problem is breaks. I pulled the front wheels today and the break linings fell off in pieces. When I started to pull the rear wheels I found that they are pined on using square pins in the wheel and axle. Is there an easy way to get them off? Sorry about all the questions but as I said I'm new at this an any help is very welcome.

I'm new at this and have just purchased a 1929 Plymouth Model U 4 door sedan that needs some TLC.
I am looking for a headlight, does anyone know where I can get one. Also after my first test drive I am going to pull the wheels and check all the breaks. Didn't stop very well scared the wife.
