Yeah . no problem here either . Make sure your rebuilder puts the longer head stud in right spot , for horn mounting .

Hello Chet ,  So your engine is not original paint ,your saying . I do not know about orange manifold ,where did you see  that?  Also see what Dupli. Color or Rusto. Color matches  . The salesman book on my truck with Ply. 4 says head is Gray, not Silver with block  black . Was thinking of using a aluminum color hi-temp . But discussion on aaca seems to think water cooling engine surface temp will only be about or below 210*F ,boiling point  most paints can easily with standing , excluding manifold .

Thanks Chet . Looks like my pan is same . It does not have extra hole where exhaust goes threw . That pic of tie piece is enough for me to fab a piece between . Did not know about it going under motor mount .

The boots only keep dust and dirt out to minimize wear .The cup inside holds fluid back . You may have a corroded piston . These are aluminum and sometimes the cups do not seal around good enough if bad . I would send back , piston are not ready available , although heard maybe cross to some Chevy 1-1/4" stuff .

Hello  , Chet
In a continuation of a discussion at Hershey on paint colors . When I said about light blue primer . Attached is a pic of the other Dodge '31 build pickup cab with light blue under black and interior green . Since it shows up in only the cab section of the truck and your composite cab . Can this be that manufactures primer and not a former color . Your page 6 shows it well .
Any other examples out there ?
