Halogen globes in 30U

Finally got around to try out halogen globes in head lights ! They seem to be about 30 to 40% brighter so I am very happy with the result. The only downside is you need an alternator to keep up with extra load.
The globes I am using are 40/40 on 8volt system so far so good "

Do these lamps fit into the original lamp sockets.

         Yes they fit into original holder ,there are made especially for vintage. they are available in 6v 8v and 12v
