Nice pic.  I will be getting my '28 out this week and getting it ready for Winter storage.....I hate this time of year!

I paid $6500.00 for my 28 in 1987, but it needed an interior.  As far as keeping it stock, that is purely personal choice.  I have kept mine stock because that is my preference, but I have other collector cars to drive if I want to fast.  Mechanical parts do not seem too hard to come buy, but they aren't cheap.  Body parts are almost impossible.  Fortunately, I have been able to find everything that I have needed over the years.

I have never pushed my Plymouth past 40 miles an hour, but it runs fine at that speed.

Thanks Chet.  I am gonna give it a try, just for the heck of it!

My '28 has a tool box mounted on the running board.  I have most of the original tools......I never looked under the seat.

My 2-door sedan has a pouch on the passenger side door only.  When I got the car, there was a window blind on the rear window, but it was so rotten I had to discard it.  My car had the original interior in it when I got it so I know the pouch was on the passenger side only.

One of these days when I feel brave enough, I am going to try and use the crank.......just for grins!

My '28 has rubber in the front and color coordinated carpet in the rear.  It was that way when I bought the car in 1987 so I have no more info on it.

General Discussion / Re: 30I Wheel Color

when my Model Q was restored, there was extensive research on this.  My fenders also match the body instead of being black.  When the fenders were stripped, we only found evidence of the body color, no black.  As for the wheels, mine were refinished natural, but there was evidence on them being black at one time.

Hi Gary and welcome.  I have a 2-door sedan  HE402S(384026) built in late June or early July of 1928 as best I can tell.  Welcome aboard.

Yes, I have inside storage for all my cars.  I keep 4 at the house and the other 3 are in my other garage at my Father-in-Law's.  I am very familiar with Virginia.  I get down that way frequently.  I went to college in Blacksburg and I have a lot of friends there.

I have not been to Hershey for many years.  I am still a member of AACA, but I don't agree with a lot of their philosophies so I don't participate anymore.  I found that it took a lot of walking and there were very few Plymouth parts available.

That is why I chose today to put the cars away.  It takes a full day to put all 5 away and it is so nice, I thought this would be a good time.
