This forum was created for 1928 Model Q, 1929 Model U, and 1930-U Plymouths.  These early Plymouths are very similar in construction with many similarities in parts.  Actually after 75+ years.., any year noted could contain any combination or mixture of parts.  Also Chrysler 1924 to 1930 are also welcome.

Since there are not a whole lot of these models around with even fewer experts on their repair and maintenance, I thought that having a place to share issues, problems, and just general information about these cars would be a big help.

This forum is Free and has no opinion about how you modify your car.  The purpose here is to freely share information about these early Plymouths & Chryslers.  You alone are left to be the judge of your car.

Thanks for stopping by,  Chet...

My Model Q is a 2-door Sedan.  Serial Number HE402S.  I have owned the car since 1987.  It is an earlier restoration and I do drive it regularly.

Thanks for stopping by.  I own a 29 U 4 door sedan and have a 48 in the restoration process.  See picture below.  I am currently working on putting in a photo gallery were people may post pictures of their cars.

Here again Welcome and feel free to post anytime about anything.  Unfortunately right now it's just you & I...  but I guess it takes time for a seed to grow.

I have Avators turned off because I am told they slow down the board.  Not that we are anywhere near full throttle.

What is an Avator anyway.??

Hi Dave & Welcome,

We are not a very big group yet but hopefully the site will grow.  I will keep an eye out for your hinges.  I set up this site for all Plymouth Owners whether factory original or custom creations.  Anything saved from the crusher is a good thing and not all cars are destine to be museum pieces.   Actually they are a lot more fun when they are on the street.!!!

Are you planning on putting the running boards and fenders back on.  It would sure look sweet with the running boards on.

Quite an impressive display.  By the way.., I am still working on putting up a photo album link where forum members can display their car pictures.  I just haven't been able to find the time to test the application.  Well in any event I'll get to it at some point.

Thanks for posting the picture.    Chet...
