Looking for a source for these headlamp springs, I'm in need of 3, would like to buy 6

So i've been working on the 30u a little more now that it's back from upholstery, a couple of notes/questions;
-Every time I wish to start the engine it needs just a little squirt of ether in the carb, then 9/10 it starts up, but always needs a little choke to run, just a hair, any thoughts on why this might be?  I've rebuilt the carb (drt08) and made sure all passageways are clear etc.
-Once the engine is warm, it will occasionally misfire
-I'm thinking I need to adjust the valves to try and get the engine to run smoother, I can't find what tappet clearance the valves need to be adjusted to, any leads?
-Is there a good alternative to the drt08 that bolts up and is slightly more adjustable?

Obviously not stock, and a few little things to re-do/iron out, but i'm stocked!!

I'm looking for a set of door sills for a 1930 Plymouth 4dr sedan.  This is the flat pieces with a little ridge that holds the carpet down on each door entrance.

I do have four of the chrome pieces and 2 of the 's' brackets, i'm looking for everything else I will need to make my rear bumper work, this is for a 30u.

Even pictures of a complete rear 30u bumper would help to see if the parts that are missing are in my pile.

Started searching for tires for my 30u. Tires on there already are super weather checked  but show 19x4.75.

These came up on my search and I think the price is reasonable. This will be a parade low speed car.

Has anyone installed a temp gauge to show engine temp?  Where did you install the sending unit?

It surprises me that there is no obvious port, or gauge for engine temp. Does anyone ever have problems with engine over heating?

Hey folks, came to do my brakes today and even though I have assorted hub pullers, I never took this type of wheel into account.

Does anyone have a source, or could I borrow a hub puller for this wooden type wheel from somebody please?

I recently received a used DRT 08 carb that had the lower part of the accelerator pump assembly removed and blocked with a brass fitting.  Is that unusual?  The reason I ask is my accelerator pump is leaking, i've tried the seal that comes with a rebuild kit to no avail, I've also tried other seals, just wondering is there going to be a noticeable difference (at parade speeds or at least low speeds) to the performance without an accelerator pump fitted?

Is there a carb rebuild guy who could rebuild it for me?

Is anyone able to tell me where this piece of wood goes?

Hey folks, looking for the windshield trim that goes on the 'A' pillar.  1930 30u.  Even a pic of what it would have looked like would be awesome to see if I can fabricate something.

Picture attached and circled in green where it needs to go, left and right are both needed.

Anyone had any luck sourcing after market 'modern' brake bleeders for their 30u?  Mine are the original type that I guess you removed the bolt and screwed in a bleeder that came in a tool kit, well I don't have a tool kit and brakes is something else on the list.

However oil pressure is like 50psi. Even when hot. I put in a different oil gauge to verify and it's still reading 50.

What do you think? Just run it?

I'm on the hunt for 2 of the wheel plates in picture and 5 of each of the carriage bolts and lug nuts, these would be for a 30u with wooden wheels.  Any leads?

Any cross over part numbers for a 30u cap and rotor?
