General Discussion / Re: What’s happening?

Well my car as been at the upholstery shop since January 17th.  I'm fine with that as the weather in Utah has been miserable and it's free storage if it's there.  They are reupholstering the entire vehicle to my liking, not back to stock, they are doing seats from scratch, headliner, carpet all panels and I think i'm going to have them re-do the roof.

So just talked to Don over at Door Sills
(Door Sills (Don Kuhn) 81 Graham Ave., North Haledon, NJ 07508. Ph# 973-904-0270)
Email; doorsills@gmail.com
Sending off one front and one rear, he charges $250 including shipping, he will make the pattern for them if he doesn't have the pattern on the shelf for the same price.
Turn around is about a month he says.

I'm looking for a set of door sills for a 1930 Plymouth 4dr sedan.  This is the flat pieces with a little ridge that holds the carpet down on each door entrance.

Thanks

The attached image is not specific to our mc's but generic, I think you are talking about the 'master cup' and the 'dished washer'

If you search in google for Master cylinder exploded diagram there are a lot of image returns.

That does thank you. So did they always have a long 'joining' bar that went across the back?

General Discussion / Rear Bumper parts and question

Me........again, getting an inventory of parts I still need.

I do have four of the chrome pieces and 2 of the 's' brackets, i'm looking for everything else I will need to make my rear bumper work, this is for a 30u.

Even pictures of a complete rear 30u bumper would help to see if the parts that are missing are in my pile.

General Discussion / Re: Spare Wheel "Clamp"?
January 16, 2019, 04:05:09 PM
That does help.....kinda, now I know what I don't have, and so the search continues,

Speaking of searches, i'm looking for the rear bumper mounting 'flats?' i guess you might call them, I have the 4 chrome bumper pieces, I have the part that mounts onto the rear frame horns, but not the rectangular and oval brackets.

Any leads appreciated.

General Discussion / Spare Wheel "Clamp"?
January 16, 2019, 01:39:21 PM
Hey guys, me again!!
Mounted the spare wheel, but i'm unsure of what the hold down "clamp" would have looked like, any reference pictures?

This is for the rear of a 30u

(Excuse the dirty picture, everything still needs to get cleaned)

General Discussion / Re: Brake pistons.
January 13, 2019, 04:32:08 PM
I found them. Looks they resleeve with brass for $50 per piston, however you still have to supply the internals, so if my pucks are a little worn this may be no good. I may go with those $50 complete pistons mentioned earlier in this thread.

Thanks for the reply though.

Do you remember roughly how much that whole get-up cost to get resleeved?
