Chet,

Forgot to answer the question...I'm making a set of rear fenders and plan to run motorcycle fenders on the front...so a highboy style with fenders and somewhat of a mid-late 60's gasser look.

Chet,

Thanks for the site and the feed back.  I'm actually trying to recreate a car I feel in love with when I was a kid.  It was a 1931 PA drag/street hot rod built in the late sixties and stayed on the street until the mid seventies.  Never could afford to buy it then and when I got older and had money he wouldn't sell it.   So...I'm making the car using pictures I took of his car all those years ago.

I am attacking a link with more pictures and my progress over the last few years.  Basically bought it and let it sit for years while I was rounding up parts.  I found it down on the Texas/Oklahoma border in 2001 sitting in the woods with other old cars...it was just the body.  I hope you enjoy the pics.

This forum is Free and has no opinion about how you modify your car.  The purpose here is to freely share information about these early Plymouths & Chryslers.  You alone are left to be the judge of your car.

Thanks for stopping by,  Chet...

Chet,

Just wanted to take a minute to say thanks for setting of this specific to the really rare Plymouths.  I need some door hinges for a 30 U.

Again thanks!

Hello,

I'm having a door hinge fit problem on my 1930 Series U Plymouth Coupe. I've been trying to use a universal type external hinge but after a weeks worth of work it's not working out.

I need a complete set of OEM hinges for a 1930 Plymouth Series U Coupe or for a 1931-32 Plymouth PA Coupe...these are the bodies with the oval back window. There are 3 hinges on each door and I need the whole set.

Any information would be greatly apprcieated...

Thanks in advance!
Dave
