raditator cap

Is there a gasket under the radiator cap?  Mine blows alot of water and I wonder if a gasket would force excesss water down the over fill tube and not on the windshield.

Yes the cap should have a rubber gasket.  I made mine from flat rubber stock I picked up at Ace Hardware in the plumbing supply section.
