30 U gas pedal

One question I never got around to asking: does the gas pedal on a 1930 30U have any rubber piece on it, or is it just metal?   My car just has a metal circle that is wearing thin, but no rubber petal attached to it.  right next to it is a "foot rest" knob that has a rubber knob on it.

My 30U has no rubber, just a metal button that is well worn.
