It was such a nice day that the wife and I decided to take the 29 over to Lincoln to visit our old neighbors.  On the way home we drove through Milford DE and parked next to this old Bed & Breakfast.  I believe this may be the oldest existing structure in Milford.  The building's chimney is dated 1783.  Obviously the house has been restored.

The first picture is color the second is converted to Black & White.

I have been trying to get my wife to dress (with me) in period outfits for our weekend drives, no luck so far.

Rusty,

A Tommy Gun and a Flapper would certainly fit the bill.

Thanks Doug,  I edited out a telephone pole.

I notice that your liscense plate is on the bumper.  Mine is mounted on the head light bar.  Which is correct?

Rusty,  Mine is on with tie wraps so yours is probably more correct.

Fantastic photos !!
I think that the amateurs of the old cars have to appreciate what with the cars lived.
The auto has been built for that period that we often see in the images of it.
This makes us appear the very beautiful photos.  And' is their world and us we now admire that projected in the future of their own epoch.
Thanks Chet!
