A friend and I have been working on the 29 for four months. The fenders are off, stripped, rust sealed and primed. The undercarriage has been mostly prepared as well.  It had not run for twenty years and I needed to manufacture a completely new wiring harness from scratch.  Yesterday we got it started.  Such a great sound.  Initially a lot of smoke for a few minutes, and after that it ran strong!!
Only 62 thousand miles on the car. Boy am i encouraged!

That's the spirit !
Brings back memory's of my 30u getting started after 36 years ! It took approx? 30 min. Running to clear smoke completely .
Cheers Tony.

Nothing sounds as sweet as an engine firing up for the first time.

Congratulations !!!
