Headlightbuckets and Rad shell

Was curious if anyone knows what the base metal is for the Radiator Shell and Headlight Buckets on a 28 Model Q.  Have got to refinish these items but if the base metal is acceptable I may just work with that.  The reflectors for the Headlights are Brass and I have buffed them back from junk to a high gloss and may try the same approach with the other items depending on the material. I would assume that they are either steel or brass but was wondering if anyone know for sure.......Thanks in advance

I would say they are stamped steel. That's what they seem to be on my 29U.  Put a magnet to them.
