Dashboard Warning for 28-30 Plymouths.
On my 29 the 6 Dashboard slotted screws that hold the dash in place are an obsolete screw size. They are round head screws with a thread size of 1/4-24TPI. Modern machine screw sizes are 1/4-20 and 1/4-28. The 1/4-24 isn't used anymore especially in a round head with a diameter of 0.567 (approx. 9/16) and a head height of 0.150 (approx. 5/32) If you work in this area try not to damage these screws because they are not readily available. I believe the tap and die may still be available if you have your own metal lathe.
